    "Suddenly everything went out, everything became uncertain and dark"

    "Quarantine Mood" traces the state of mind of a teenager who, during the first lock down, finds herself enraptured by her everyday life, by the simplest existential values ​​such as socialization, human contact and finds herself catapulted into a dimension in which she wanders in he seeks a logic that he cannot elaborate.
    After two years, "Quarantine Mood" continues to be the mood of a generation no longer in quarantine but in the race to safety, a generation that escapes from destruction, from the devastation of a war that cannot even realize and explain itself.

    Splashes of Jazz, nu-jazz, upbeat, indie and pop in which analog percussion such as xylophone, marimba and drums meet with electronics, creating a sound that can be placed within the new jazz generation.

    The five tracks of the EP are the synthesis of wandering through music in search of oneself during the first months of the pandemic. "Walking Alone", the first track, released as a single in June 2021, whose video shot by Federica Vero was a finalist at the Rome music video festival 2022, represents "walking alone" in search of a reason, a glow, of a light in the sound of the music that Helmet Project finds in the second track “The Sound of light”, released last November, in which Sergio Battaglia's sax is freed, creating a sense of freedom.

Quarantine mood is the fourth track, the one that gives the EP its title and that shows us that unfortunately the mood hasn't changed much and that now more than ever for all of us, but especially for young people, the historical moment continues to be difficult. but not lost. Loss is the track that closes the EP: a short cry of hope so that all young people can rediscover freedom, love and above all trust in a future that unfortunately now seems to stop like a cog that has stopped again.
